More on the Public Service announcement…

In many ways, the Masons embodied the eighteenth-century Enlightenment, which represented a budding Western commitment to rational argument, religious ecumenism, and tolerance for dissenting opinions

It looks like the advertising in Massachusetts is working, and reaching an audience beyond the regular listeners and into the ears of the academic community of George Mason University.

…we might benefit from the resurgence of a group that at least aspires to balance faith, tolerance, and brotherhood…

  1. I think of the Founders trying to create the embodiment of Freemasonry in the precepts the US were founded on. I think it isn’t possible to understand where they were coming from without someone understanding Freemasonry.

    It is a shame so many people are not open to these ideas.
